Don’t Stop Believing

You may still be in a season of life where your expectations have been disappointed or have not yet manifested. Keep on believing what you know is true, never stop believing God. Your degree of expectation always determines your degree of manifestation. Don’t give up on yourself; you have the victory. There’s nothing wrong with you. Let go of the shame or the inferiority you might be feeling because of expectations that have undergone a disappointing flip-flop. Don’t get stuck in the feeling of disappointment, some are not within your capacity of control. Such as, you may have been laid off, a child’s disappointment, a spouse infidelity, a church fail, grief at the loss of a loved one or you may be at your dismal moment. Besides, disappointment is a vital part of life, no one escapes life without disappointment. Your disappointment does not mean that it is over. Its all in God’s timing, everything has its seasons. In other words, don’t stop believing in everything God has revealed to you and promise you. Don’t allow a hopeless set of circumstances and setbacks to immobilize your faith. Let your faith Rise!

A poem I would like to share to encourage your faith….

O thou of little faith,
God hath not failed thee yet!
When all looks dark and gloomy,
Thou dost so soon forget-

Forget that He has led thee,
And gently cleared thy way;
On clouds has poured His sunshine,
And turned thy night to day.

And if He’s helped thee hitherto,
He will not fail thee now;
How it must wound His loving heart To see thy anxious brow!

Oh! Doubt not any longer, To Him commit thy way,
Whom in the past thou trusted,

The good news is you can hope again. The impotent man at the pool of Bethesda who had been sick thirty eight years in an afflicted and helpless condition was a pretty hopeless situation. (Read John 5:1-15)  This man apparently possessed a quality of faith and hope believing for his healing. The beauty of this story it gives hope and encouragement to those who feel like God has forgotten about them.

God has not forgotten about you, He is inclined to the prayers of His people. You have nothing to lose by believing, absolutely nothing! Just because you don’t see it doesn’t mean whatever you are dreaming for are hoping for won’t happen. It is possible, just keep on believing.  All things are possible to him that believes – Mark 9:23. Believe and never stop believing, never stop hoping and never stop trusting. What is it that you are dreaming for? What is it that you are hoping for? Most importantly, don’t stop believing.
